Nikki Britton wanted the ground to “swallow her up” when her son stood up in front of the entire school to show off a painting he made of her which saw her butt naked
A mum was left mortified after her son painted a naked picture of her and took it to school to show off in assembly.
Nikki Britton was doing a big clear out when she came across a “masterpiece” that her son Jack painted of her when he was in infant school – a woman with brown hair, a huge grin and wearing nothing but a pair of shoes.
Proud of his artwork, the little “Picasso” as she called him, showed off the piece of work in front of the entire school.
But poor Nikki said she “wanted the ground to swallow me up.”
Sharing the story in the Family Lowdown and Tips & Idea group on Facebook, she wrote: “So after a recent clear out, I came across this masterpiece that my lovely son had painted of me when he was in infant school.
“The first time I saw it was in his class assembly, where my little Picasso proudly showed the whole school, including the parents.
“I could hear the mumbles of laughter and wanted the ground to swallow me up!
“When I finally managed to get hold of the little toe rag he said ‘I didn’t have time to paint any clothes on you’.”
Nikki said she had no idea what was going through the teacher’s mind when he let the picture be shown in assembly.
She continued: “Aren’t children just wonderful!”
Many people were in hysterics over the funny drawing, with one person writing: “At least you were wearing shoes so not completely naked!”
Another wrote: “You need to frame that and have it on display.”
A third commented: “I actually thought it was Mr Blobby at first.”
While someone else joked: “It’s the look in your eyes that really get me.”
Others shared stories and artwork that their own children had drawn them.
“My four-year-old had drawn two pictures of me recently at school which is lovely. However, in both pictures he’s drawn my boobs and given them smiley face!” revealed a group member.
And another person said: “My daughter was asked to paint a self-portrait at school but she told me she actually drew me…apparently I look like a pink potato.”
Meanwhile, a mum was left horrified after her daughter took her vibrator into school thinking it was a toy.
Kahla Maneely’s five-year-old little girl had then given the ‘toy’ to her friend, who went home to show her parents.
Later that night Kahla received a text from the girl’s mum.
